Create one of three formats. Clients use all of them in FitSpace; the format defines the product content, while the sales channel is configured separately.
| Format | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Program | For client coaching or a flexible self-guided program: workouts, nutrition, check-ins, chat, calls, and materials. Enable only the modules you need. |
| Video course | For a ready-made series of video lessons with modules, previews, and independent progress. |
| Meal plan | For a standalone menu by day with meals and recipes. Use a program for personalized nutrition and feedback. |
Coaching is no longer created as a separate product. Use programs for new client work. Existing coaching products, purchases, intake forms, assignments, and chats remain supported; there is no automatic migration into a program.
/author/trainer-space/programs/{id}; Edit opens the program form with its price and terms (/author/create-entity?type=program&id={id}). The old /author/trainer-space/programs/{id}/sale address opens the same form.Build your program for free before subscribing. Workouts, custom exercises, manual nutrition plans, module settings, and materials can be prepared without a subscription. Video uploads, AI generation, and client operations keep their separate subscription and resource checks.
The program form includes the price, access, and terms (sections Pricing, Checkout, and Terms). Fill them in when you create the program, or leave the price empty if you are not selling it yet: a price is saved as a draft offer without a subscription. The form never puts the program on sale. The On sale switch is separate, on the program page, and appears only once every step of the Program setup checklist is done: a cover image, at least one module, a workout plan, a nutrition plan, and a meeting link for the Workouts, Nutrition, and Calls modules you turned on, and the price. Putting an offer on sale, or editing one that is already on sale, requires an active Trainer Space subscription or eligible trial: switching On sale on opens the subscription screen, and after you subscribe you return to the program page to switch it on. You can switch an offer off at any time. Without a subscription, direct purchases stay unavailable even if an offer exists. After your subscription ends, programs remain editable, new direct purchases are blocked, and previously paid client access keeps its original terms. You can still disable an existing offer.
Direct offers and Marketplace listings are configured separately. Video courses and meal plans can have their own Trainer Space offer and catalog listing.
Program Marketplace listing is implemented for an active program, verified author, moderation, and a one-time self-guided offer paid through FitSpace. Recurring offers and offers with coaching support are not eligible for that listing. Production access requires the program catalog migration to be applied.
Video courses and standalone meal plans are not attached to a program as whole products: programs use their own workout, nutrition, and materials modules.
Toggle modules in the program Content tab:
| Module | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Chat | 1:1 delivery conversation with the student |
| Materials | Files, PDFs, downloads for the program |
| Check-ins | Structured recurring questionnaires — Clients doc |
| Workouts | Native workout plan inside the program (see below) |
| Nutrition | Weekly nutrition plan and meal completion |
| Calls | A link to join a call |
| Community | Shared program chat |
Each module must be enabled and filled in before students see value. An enabled but empty workouts module shows a planned state until you add content.
Build a native workout plan on the workouts module in the program sheet:
V1 limits: %1RM, RPE, and a large public exercise catalog are not in the builder yet. Use notes or custom movement names until those ship.
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Trainer Space | A product with a direct Trainer Space offer |
| Marketplace | A product or eligible program approved for catalog listing |
The same course can appear on the Marketplace and have its own Trainer Space offer — that is separate from program modules.
For a program, price, access, billing, and checkout are fields of the program form. Video courses, meal plans, and existing coaching products configure them on product Sale routes (not inline in the products sheet):
| Product | Where |
|---|---|
| Program | The program form: Edit on the program page (/author/create-entity?type=program&id={id}) |
| Video course / meal plan / existing coaching | /author/trainer-space/{type}/{id}/sale |
From Products, open an item’s sheet for marketplace listing, or follow Set up sale / Edit sale: for a program this opens the program form, for other products the sale page. The program page also offers a quick on/off sale toggle (status only). Full fields: Offers & checkout.
Deep links: ?product=program:123 opens the products sheet; ?tab=sale navigates to the first eligible product’s sale page or, for a program, its form (or to a specific product when combined with ?product=…).
Test as a student (preview or test account):
For recurring offers, explain in copy what renews each period and what happens when the client’s subscription ends.
