Launch Trainer Space

A launch checklist for an author workspace, from access to the first direct offer.

Use this checklist to go from an empty workspace to a shareable direct-sales page. For day-to-day navigation after launch, see Dashboard.

Prerequisites

Author role on FitSpace — open Trainer Space signed in as the author account.
Verification — marketplace products need confirmed verification & payouts. Trainer Space programs sold only through your offers do not require marketplace moderation, but verification still matters if you use hybrid catalog products.
Program authoring is free — create and edit program content, and save its price as a draft offer, before subscribing. Putting an offer on sale and client operations require an active subscription or eligible trial under Billing.

Trainer Space uses six tabs: Dashboard · Products · Clients · Billing · Site · Settings. Legacy URLs like /programs or /offers redirect into Products.

Launch checklist

1. Create a product for free

Open Products:

Custom program — modular Trainer Space delivery (chat, materials, check-ins, workouts). Use Create program in the toolbar or product picker.
Marketplace product — video course or meal plan via Create entity for catalog discovery or a separate Trainer Space offer on that product.

Configure program modules: Programs & delivery.

Open Billing. Compare Starter / Pro / Studio, note seat and video limits, then checkout (Stripe on the primary domain, YooKassa on the RU host) or start a trial when offered. Details: Billing & limits.

3. Set the price and put the offer on sale

For a program, price, access duration, billing mode (one-time or recurring), and checkout method are fields of the program form: set them when you create the program or later with Edit. They are saved as a draft offer. The On sale switch is separate, on the program page: it appears once every step of the Program setup checklist is done and publishes the offer, which needs the subscription from step 2. For a video course, meal plan, or existing coaching product, open the product’s Sale page instead. Details: Offers & checkout.

4. Publish your landing page

Open Site → Public page. Complete brand, promise, proof, and primary CTA in the landing editor, then publish. Details: Site & domain.

5. Preview the student path

Walk through checkout and student home as a buyer would: payment confirmation → workspace access → modules (chat, materials, check-ins, workouts). Fix gaps before sharing the link.

Default URL: /trainer/{your-slug}. On Pro or Studio, you can add a custom domain under Site → Custom domain.

7. Onboard the first client

When payment confirms, the buyer appears under Clients. Assign check-ins if needed and open chat from the student detail page. Details: Clients, chat & check-ins.

What not to promise clients

If a capability is not shown as available in your workspace, keep it out of sales copy:

Teams, multi-location, booking calendar, referrals, automations
A separate white-label mobile app (clients use FitSpace)
Features marked coming later in plan entitlements

Custom domain is available on Pro and Studio — see Site & domain. Do not promise it on Starter.

Common launch mistakes

Creating an offer before a product or program exists.
Publishing a landing with a CTA that points to an unpublished offer.
Hitting seat or video limits on launch day without checking Billing → Usage.
Using external checkout without configuring Settings & payments.
