Open dashboard →Clients, chat, and check-ins
The Clients tab covers everyone with active workspace access: list and detail views, delivery chat, check-in templates, and the submissions inbox.
Open Clients:
| Subtab | Path | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| All clients | /students | Search, filter, open student detail |
| Templates | /checkins | Build and assign check-in forms |
| Submissions | /checkins/inbox | Review due, submitted, and missed responses |
The list shows active seats, linked offer/program, and risk signals.
Click a row to open student detail.
From the detail page you can:
| Action | Use for |
|---|---|
| Goals & notes | Private coaching context |
| Tags | Segment clients (e.g. phase, injury, tier) |
| Chat | Delivery questions and program support |
| Promotion | Move a learner to coaching capacity (preview → confirm) when dual capacity applies |
| Schedule assign | Set delivery start dates when your workflow supports them |
Keep medical emergencies outside in-app chat. Check-ins are not diagnostic tools.
Program chat module must be enabled and the student must have active access. Chat opens from student detail or the student workspace. For course-level chat settings on marketplace products, see Courses — chat.
Under Templates (/checkins):
/checkins/new; add ?id= to edit an existing template)Keep forms short. Tell clients how often you review submissions.
Under Submissions (/checkins/inbox):
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Due | Waiting for client response |
| Submitted | Ready for your review |
| Missed | Past due without submission |
Review answers, leave feedback, and follow up in chat when needed.
Basic automations are implemented and included in Starter, Pro, and Studio. Web workspace automation settings let you configure program and onboarding check-in assignments on purchase or client activation, notifications and trainer follow-up tasks for missed check-ins and inactivity, and notifications for access expiry and payment failures.
Advanced automations remain a separate capability marked coming later. Notification delivery depends on the client's permissions and configured channels.
Active clients consume seats on your author plan (and coaching seats when dual capacity applies). Monitor Billing → Usage.
