Videos & library

Upload, replace, author library, schedule, and offline for buyers

Why videos deserve their own page

Workouts are the core of a course. Upload, day order, and replacing a clip on a published course tie into revisions — otherwise students see an inconsistent course.

Where to work

Course page → Manage videos. Storefront teasers are separate: Previews & materials.

Upload from scratch

Add workout → upload a file or pick from library.
Upload supports resume after a dropped connection.
Set title and description for the workout.
Assign day / week in the schedule — buyers see a calendar plan.

Author library

Previously uploaded clips are available when adding a workout:

From library — pick a clip from another course or coaching;
No need to re-upload the file;
The list shows the source course or coaching.

You must still have rights to all content you use.

Replacing video on a published course

Course status	On replace
Draft	Updates the course draft directly
Approved	Change goes into a revision; catalog keeps old clips until revision approval

After replacements, Submit revision for moderation — Revisions.

Day-by-day schedule

Link each workout to a day (and week/block if used).
Buyers in the FitSpace app and website see a plan, not a flat file list.
Order within a day is set in the manage-videos UI.

Previews vs workouts

Type	Purpose
Previews	Short teaser on the catalog card
Workouts	Full clips after purchase

Don’t mix Preview videos and Manage videos.

Offline for buyers

In the FitSpace app, buyers can download workouts for offline viewing. No extra author setting — within access duration for approved clips.

Quality tips

Horizontal HD, stable picture, clear audio;
One workout — one clip or clearly named parts;
Unlicensed music/watermarks — moderation risk.

Common mistakes

Replacing all videos but not submitting a revision.
Only previews, no workouts — first moderation fails.
No schedule days — worse app experience.
